Where is Pine Mountain Lake Equestrian Center located?

We are located at 13309 Cliffton Way Groveland, CA 95321

Yes! Pine Mountain Lake Equestrian Center is open to everyone during operating hours.

We are open 7 days a week from 8 am – 5 pm.

  • For trail rides, lessons, or meetings yes you will need a reservation. To make a reservation you may call +1 (209) 962-8667, email stables@pinemountainlake.com, or stop by the office located at 13309 Cliffton Way Groveland, CA 95321.

We accept cash, check, debit and credit cards. There is a 3% charge on credit cards.

Pine Mountain Lake Equestrian Center is located only 30-35 minutes away from the Big Oak Flat Entrance to Yosemite National Park.

Trail Rides

Do you offer guided trail rides?
  •  Yes! We offer guided trail rides. Trail rides are perfect for PML residents or those visiting. Reservations are required.

For PML property owners trail rides cost $65. For non-PML property owners $70.

Each trail ride last 1 hour which includes a lesson prior to going out on the trail to ensure safety for everyone involved. Please check-in 15 minutes prior to the reservation time.

No, all levels of riding ability are welcome!

The minimum age for trail rides is 5 years old.

Long pants, close toed shoes, and a helmet(we supply) are all required to participate in the trail ride. Additionally no backpacks, purses, cell phones or cameras are allowed on the trail ride. We will take photos!

The ride would be canceled and a full deposit refund will be issued. We will reach out to you as far in advance as possible.

8 people can be on one trail ride at a time. Still reach out to us if you have a group larger than 8.

Lessons

Do you offer horseback riding lessons?

Yes we offer horseback riding lessons and lead line lessons at PML Equestrian Center.

Yes, all levels of riders are welcome!

For lead line lessons any child 4 and under. For riding lessons ages 5 and up are welcome.

No, we provide lesson horses.

We teach both English and Western riding.

Each lesson lasts one hour.

 For PML property owners each lesson cost $65. For non-property owners each lesson cost $70.

Yes we offer both private and group lessons, there is no price difference between private and group.

Events

Do you host equestrian events?

 Yes, we offer many equestrian events! Check our calendar on our website for upcoming events.

Yes, all events are open to the public!

Yes, our lawn area is perfect for birthday parties, weddings, or any other type of large event. Contact us to learn more about hosting your event at Pine Mountain Lake Equestrian Center!

Boarding

Do you offer horse boarding?

Yes, Pine Mountain Lake Equestrian Center is a top choice for boarding. 

All types of boarding include quality hay, cleaning 2x a day and fresh water. For stall boarding, horses will be turned out daily(weather dependent). Our staff are onsite 7 days a week to ensure the best care and safety for your horse(s). 

PML Equestrian Center offers barn stall boarding, pasture boarding or overnight boarding.

For barn stall boarding the cost is $395/month. Pasture boarding is $305/month. Overnight boarding is $30/day.

Horses & Safety

How are horses matched with riders?

Instructors try to match riders based on experience and saddle fit.

Horses are to be kept at a walk at all times. If the saddle feels loose or tilted at any time let an instructor know. Never put clothing on or off while riding.
